On March 14, 2012 our Angel, Charlotte Ann Burrough, 72, was taken home to be with her heavenly father. Charlotte was born on July 25, 1939 in Beeville, Texas to the late Wiley and Zelda Blanche Woodward Stuart. Charlotte moved to Bay City in 1942, graduating from Bay City High School in 1958. She met the love of her life in 1955 when she was a sophomore. Charlotte attended Victoria Beauty College. Johnny & Charlotte were married on April 25, 1959. In 1976 they moved their family to Alaska and returned to Texas in 1991. Charlotte was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Charlotte was kind and truly genuine, always putting her family first.

She leaves her long time best friend & husband of 52 years Johnny Burrough, son, David Burrough of Van Vleck, daughter & son-in-law David & Terri Burrough Smith of Anchorage, Alaska, her 3 grandchildren & 4 great-grandchildren. Charlotte is pre-deceased by her parents, her brothers, Wiley Gene Stuart & Robert Stuart.

The family will receive visitors from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, March 16, 2012 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M. Saturday March 17, 2012 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers, David L. Burrough, Dustin Curley, Michael Stuart, Ronnie Young, Steve Harris, and Andy Harris. Honorary pallbearers will be: Bradley McInnis and Robbie Stuart.
