Charles "Chuck" Wright, went to be with his Lord on Monday, December 8, 2014. Chuck was born on May 22, 1940 in Mattoon, Illinois to the late Ordaneo and Maxine Arbogast Wright.

Chuck was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Chuck was a Mason for over 50 years. He was a Shriner with many years as an advocate of children. Chuck spent many joyous hours checking his cattle with his faithful companion Duke. He was also a Boy Scout earning the rank of Eagle Scout at an early age.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 21 years Lynn Wright; his son Chuck Wright; grandchildren Charli Jo Maney & Joshua Wright; great grandchildren Ethan & Cassidy; brother Dan Wright and numerous nieces, nephews and other family members.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00P.M. Thurs. Dec. 11 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral services will be 10:00 A.M. Friday, December 12, 2014 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Lane Pardue officiating. Pallbearers are Bubba Simons, Tommy Kountz, Wayne Deakle, Tom Black, David Allen and George Deshotels. Honorary pallbearers are Wayne Carroll, Jim Waters, Ted Bates and all the members of Matagorda Masonic Lodge #7. Interment will follow at Matagorda Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
