Charles Ray Triplett, age 72, was born on June 16, 1954, in Sunflower, Mississippi, to the late Vergie and Earnest Triplett.
Charles lived a life defined by hard work, generosity, and an unwavering love for his family. Of all his achievements, nothing brought him greater joy or a deeper sense of fulfillment than the family he cherished so dearly. His children and grandchildren were the absolute pride of his life, and he treasured every moment spent with them. He looked upon the legacy he built—10 children, 26 grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren—with immense pride and endless love. Whether celebrating life’s milestones or simply enjoying time together, Charles found his greatest happiness in the presence of those he loved.
For more than 20 years, Charles owned and operated his landscaping company, “Just Me Company,” serving his community with dedication, integrity, and pride. Through his work, he built lasting relationships and earned the love and respect of many who knew him.
Charles will be remembered for his kind heart, strong work ethic, strength, and the love he freely gave to family and friends. His presence brought comfort, laughter, wisdom, and encouragement to those around him, and his memory will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Vergie and Earnest Triplett, and his older brother, Earnest Triplett III.
Leaving to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 48 years, Lillian Barefield Triplett; his children, Shafaye (Beloved-Minor) Reese, Tammie Triplett, Rachel (David) Hensley, Elmira Triplett, Tunisia Barefield, Tasha (Felix) Sanchez, Sheniqura Huff, Charles Fobbs, Terrance, and Joshua Cabrales; his siblings, Annette (Beloved-Charles Hawkins Sr.), Ruthieann Winstion, Dennis Triplett, Mary Elaine (Kenneth) Green, Darlene Triplett-Lowe, Diane (Lawrence) Werdlow, and Qunnie (Benjamin) Meyers; and his sister-in-law, Lois Triplett.
Although he will be deeply missed, the love, values, and memories Charles shared will remain a lasting gift to his family for generations to come.
