Obituary

Charles Wesley Teutsch, 75, of Bay City passed away Monday, March 21, 2011 in Houston. He was born June 20, 1935 in Henderson Texas to the late James & Hazel Teutsch. He attended Texas A & M University and married Louise Fikes in 1954. Charlie was a longtime resident of Bay City, owner & operator of Teutsch's Texaco for 30 years, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Bay City.


He is survived by his wife: Louise Fikes Teutsch of Bay City; daughter: Louann of Corpus Christi; son: James of Bay City; 2 grandsons: Taylor & Tex both of Bay City; and brother: James R Teutsch. Charlie was preceded in death by his parents, sister Betty Smith, and daughter Traci Dale Teutsch.


The family will receive friends and relatives from 6pm to 8pm Thursday at the funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday, March 25, 2011 at the First United Methodist Church of Bay City with Rev. Jeff Gantz & Rev. Pauline Harvey Storey officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Taylor Teutsch, Tex Teutsch, Gayle Holton, Pete Lozano, Larry Davis, Chris Bouldin, and Ray Pawlosky. Honorary pallbearers will be: W. L. Spencer, Paul Bragg, Stan Eldridge, George Yeager, Mike Mariner, Mike Wade, Robert Niemann, Jack Stein, Ralph Thompson, Tommy Fields, Shane Smith, Dr. Warren Criswell, Harold Martin, Hubert Johnson, Bob Jackson, Spot Hinton and all the guys from The Station.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Bay City, 2300 Ave. H, Bay City, TX 77414.
