Charles Stewart Kling, 81, of Bay City died June 29, 2005 at the Methodist Hospital in Houston, TX. He was born October 27, 1923 in Kosse, TX to the late H. E. and Martha Lou Stewart Kling. He was a 1940 graduate of Bay City High School, a resident of Bay City the past 15 years, a veteran of WW II serving in the US Army, and a member of the Bay City Philip H. Parker VFW Post # 2438.
Survivors include: wife Laura Kling of Bay City; brother & sister-in-law: Bill & Florace Kling of College Station, TX; nephews: Stewart Kling & Christopher (Kit) Kling both of College Station, and David Kling of Marble Falls, TX; other family members: Joe & Maryann Charlton of Round Rock, TX, Bill & Ruby Charlton of Rio Rancho, NM, and Bobby & Mary Lou Nairn of Sweeny, TX.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, July 2, 2005 at the First United Methodist Church in Sweeny, TX with the Rev. Tom Morgan officiating. Interment will follow at the Sweeny, Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Stewart Kling, Gary Graham, Jim Cooley, Ralph Nairn, Christopher (Kit) Kling and David Kling. The family will receive friends at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
