Charles Harvey, 77 of Palacios, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 in Victoria, TX. He was born on April 15, 1934 to Curtis Harvey and Leetta Harvey.

Charles served in the United States Marine Corps from 1954 to 1957. He was the owner and Florist of Palacios Floral Service, for 34 years. He was a long-time member of the Palacios Lions Club and the First Baptist Church of Palacios.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years, Wanda Thedford Harvey. He is survived by his daughters, Sharlynn Ripke of Seguin and Vicki Lang of Franklin, TN; by five grandchildren, Leah & Trevor Ripke and Madelyn, Max and Mason Lang; sister, Delores Van Dyke of Lockhart; and brother, Terry Lee Harvey of Palacios.

The family will receive visitors 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM Sunday, November 6, 2001 at the Palacios Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 PM Monday, November 7, 2011 at the First Baptist Church of Palacios with Rev. James Collins officiating. Interment will follow at Red Bluff Cemetery in Lolita, TX.
