Charles Waldorf Coombs, III, 46, passed away Wednesday July 12, 2006 at his home in Bay City. He was born March 19, 1960 in Jersey City, NJ to Charles Waldorf Coombs, Jr. and Sharon Campbell Coombs. He has been a resident of Bay City for the past 21 years, was employed as a Police Officer with the Fort Bend I.S.D. Police Department, and was a former Police Officer for 18 years with the Bay City Police Department.

Mr. Coombs is survived by his wife: Tina Thompson Coombs of Bay City; 2 daughters: Rachel Ashworth of Rosenberg and Brittney Coombs of Bay City; 2 Sons: Charles Waldorf Coombs, IV and Joshua Coombs both of Bay City; parents: Charles Waldorf Coombs, Jr. and Sharon Campbell Coombs of Broomall, PA; 2 sisters: Janet Cook of Salt Lake City, UT and Kathy Donaghy of Boca Raton, FL; brother: Bill Coombs of Broomall, PA, and a grandchild: Morgan Ashworth of Rosenberg.
