Obituary
Charles Gordon Burt, 74, of Bay City, passed away August 6, 2008 in Texarkana. He was born June 14, 1934 to F. B. and Ruth Gordon Burt. He was a lifelong resident of Bay City and a retired carpenter.
He is survived by his daughter: Robbie Burt of Horatio, AR; by his grandchildren: Dustin Wakefield and Deborah Wakefield; and his great grandchildren: Krista Wells and Shanna Wells. He was preceded in death by his parents: F. B. and Ruth Burt; and by a son: Don Burt.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 14, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Max Pluss officiating. Interment will follow at LaBauve Cemetery in Francitas. Arrangements are with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, Bay City, TX. (979) 245-4613. www.taylorbros.net.
