Charles Henry Boatwright, 80, of Markham passed away August 28, 2008. He was born March 23, 1928 in Eagle Lake, TX to the late Ben & Elizabeth Webb Boatwright. He served in the US Army during WWII and was an Insurance Salesman for many years.

Survivors include his former wife, Rosemary Boatwright of Markham; daughters Sandra & husband Ben Kovar of Angleton, Sherry Palat of Clute & Tammie Isidro of Lake Jackson; son Greg & wife Penny Boatwright of West Columbia; sisters Martha Blair of Winter Harbor, ME, Marie Russell & husband Rusty of Portland, TX, Louise Kelly of Liberty, TX & Pearl Kolmos of Palestine, TX; brothers Ben & wife Doris Boatwright of Palestine, TX & Clarence & wife Betty Boatwright of Event, TX; grandchildren Charles & Matt Kovar, Lynn, Katelynn & Sean Boatwright, Christine Bauer, Stephanie Anderson, Jon, Drew & Kendall Walker, Vincent, Summer, & Meadow Isidro and six great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday, August 31, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Olivia Cemetery. Lynn Boatwright, Drew Walker, John Anderson, Dean Wilke, Edwin Macek & Matthew Kovar will serve as pallbearers.
