Charlean O'Connell, 92, of Van Vleck, passed away June 3, 2017. She was born December 2, 1924 in Mount Pleasant, TX to Clyde Monroe and George Ivy Baker Howard.

Charlean worked for CPL for 40 years before retiring. She did a lot of work for her church, and loved working in her flower beds. Charlean cared for her husband Daniel towards the end of his life. She loved her family.

Charlean is preceded in death by her parents; her husband Daniel O'Connell and brothers-in-law Allan O'Connell and Billy Boswell. She is survived by her sister Sylvia Joe Boswell; sister-in-law Winnie O'Connell; 3 nieces and 3 nephews; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great nieces and great-great nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00am Wednesday, June 7, 2017 at the First Methodist Church of Van Vleck, with Rev. Kenny Carter officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the First Methodist Church of Van Vleck in her name.
