Celia Haskins, 78, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, May 5, 2012. Celia was born on October 16, 1933 in San Benito, Texas to the late Jose and Romana Salines Gonzales. Celia was a loving mother and grandmother, kind and giving.

She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Debbie Haskins Koegel & husband Karl, grandchildren, Phillip Euellen Haskins, Gabriella, Abigail and Nathan Koegel, brother, Celso Gonzales and numerous other loving relatives. Celia is preceded in death by her parents; husband Arthur Lee; sister Janie Aparicio, brothers Ignacio and Rodolfo.

Visitation will be from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM with the recitation of the Holy Rosary at 6:30 PM Thursday, May 10, 2012 at Palacios Funeral Home. The Mass of the Resurrection will be 10:00 AM Friday, May 11, 2012 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Palacios with Father Bryan Heyer officiating. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Phillip Haskins, Karl Koegel, and Nathan Koegel.
