Celestina "Sally" Camacho, 63, passed away on March 15, 2025, in Bay City, Texas.

Sally was born on November 18, 1961, to Paulo & Petra Camacho in San Benito, Texas. She dedicated much of her life to working as a cook, a profession she truly loved. Her passion for cooking extended beyond work—she found joy in preparing meals for her family and making candy apples, a treat cherished by those around her. However, nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her grandchildren. They were the center of her world, and she treasured every moment with them.

She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Guzman and husband Martin; her son Emilio Luera III, and her beloved grandchildren Kameryn, Teagan, Marcus, Emilee, Brandon, Gianna, and Elliana. She also leaves behind her father Paulo Camacho; sisters Cynthia Zepeda and Dianne Camacho; brother Cruz Camacho Sr.; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Sally was preceded in death by her mother Petra Camacho and brothers Encarnacion Camacho and Paulo Camacho Jr.

Her family remembers her as the best mother,  grandmother & friend anyone could ask for—always giving of herself until the very end. Though they mourn her passing, they take comfort in knowing she is no longer suffering from illness. They will ensure that her memory lives on in their hearts forever.

A memorial service will be held on April 5, 2025, at Taylor Brothers Funeral Home, located at 2313 Avenue I in Bay City, Texas. The service will begin at 1:00 PM.

Sally's love and devotion to her family will never be forgotten. May her memory bring comfort to all who knew and loved her.
