Cecilia Garcia Medina, 83, of Markham passed away March 8, 2019. She was born March 31, 1935 in Placedo, TX to the late Leonides Garcia and Carolina Lopez Garcia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Fernando M. Trevino, grandsons Joey Garcia, Cory Cameron, Anthony James Trevino, her brothers Alfredo and Eugene Garcia, her sisters Ophelia Orta, Tomasa Bravo, Felicitas Perez, Lucy Garcia, and Janie Diaz.

Survivors include daughters Rosalinda Salas (Sonny) of Markham, Sarah Zernicek of Bay City, Veronica Cameron (Delbert) of Lake Jackson and Caroline Rodriguez of Lake Jackson; sons Fernando Lee Trevino of Bay City and Indalecio Trevino (Sincerae) of Pledger; sisters Caroline Mahan of Victoria and Antonia Valadez of Cedar Park, TX; grandchildren Salvador Salas III, Angela Salas, Jonathan Salas (Serena), Fernando Lee Trevino, Jr., Audrey Zernicek (Joshua Christian), Laura Burrow (Trevor), Joey Trevino, Jessica Harrison (Brandon), Joy Trevino-Allen, Makayla Rodriguez, Jose Angel Rodriguez Jr., Susie Rodriguez (Frankie), Leslie Green (Jack), Jayme Garcia, Casey and Zackary Cuellar, Michael, Justin, Brandon Cameron, and Margie Cameron Fuentes. She is also survived by great grandchildren Raimee Frick, Amelia Grace Salas, Jayden Spenser, Hayden Christian, T. J. Burrow and Emily Burrow, Jaylen, Joey, and J.J. Garcia, Madison, Jaquelynn, and Emilynn Green, and Taylor Rentz (John), Austin, Logan, Gaven, Naomi, and Davany Cameron, Abigail, Liliana, and Johnny Fuentes, Jessie Connell and great-great grandchild Jemma Lynn Rentz: numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Sonny Salas officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Her grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
