Cathy Jo Monteau, 27, of Bay City passed away May 26, 2010. She was born Sept. 11, 1982 in Bay City, TX to Richard Wayne & Rose Mary Gutierrez Waggoner. She was a graduate of Bay City High School and worked as an LVN with Girling Home Health. Our beloved Cathy has touched so many lives in her short life. She will be truly missed by her family and friends, but will forever remain in our hearts.

Survivors include her husband Mike Monteau of Bay City; parents Richard & Mary Waggoner of Bay City; grandfather Troy Lee Waggoner of Manchester, OH; children Kayleigh Yvette Waggoner, Cash Michael Monteau & Landon Michael Monteau all of Bay City; brothers Steven Gutierrez and Ryan Waggoner both of Bay City; in-laws Berry & Terry Monteau of Bay City; sister-in-law & brother-in-law Karma & Glenn Chambless; her best friend from childhood Pricilla Gonzales and many other friends too numerous to name. She was preceded in death by her grandparents Gilberto & Simona Gutierrez and Macel "Katie" Waggoner.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6pm to 8pm Sunday, May 30, 2010 at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Monday, May 31, 2010 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Gordon Winfrey officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Pallbearers will be Randy Gutierrez, Anthony Silvas, Rudy Silvas, Angel Trevino, Celestino Valdez & Raul Gutierrez, Jr. Robert Medina, Mikey Hill, Sam Thomas & Wayland Bryant will serve as honorary pallbearers.
