Cathy L. Mangum passed away on Monday, January 6, 2014. Cathy was born on December 4, 1952 in Bay City, Texas to the late Dalton Mangum and Ruby Plant O'Bryan. Cathy was an avid reader. Cathy loved her family especially her grandchildren.

Cathy is survived by her child, Anthony "Scooter" Mangum & wife Amalia; grandchildren, Ashley Chancellor & husband Barret, Marissa Mangum & A. J. Mangum, great-grandchildren, Summer & Caitlan Chancellor; brothers & sisters, Oma Stevens & husband Bryan, Larry Mangum & wife Paula, Joseph O'Bryan & wife Danny, Katy O'Bryan, Patti Williamson, Doogy O'Bryan & wife Missy, and numerous nieces and nephews. Cathy was preceded in death by her parents.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, January 10, 2014 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Ron Williams officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be: Barret Chancellor, Jesse "Trey" Montalvo, Eric Montalvo, Elmer "Bubba" Bennett, Charles Roberson Jr., and Bryan Stevens Jr.
