Obituary
Funeral services for Carolyn Bradshaw LaQue, 64, of Palacios, TX, are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday, June 24, 2009 at First United Methodist Church in Palacios with Pastor June White officiating. Graveside service will follow at Brazoria Cemetery in Brazoria, TX.
Carolyn was born on June 12, 1945 in Freeport, Texas to Olin "Bill" Curtis and Edith Curtis. She passed away on Sunday, June 21, 2009.
Carolyn went to college at Sam Houston University and graduated with her Masters in teaching. She pursued her degree in teaching at Palacios Independent School District for 41 years. She also was active with the Special Olympics. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Delta Kappa Gamma Club since 1976 where she served as past-president and served as a board member of the Palacios Public Library.
She is survived by her husband, Jimmy LaQue of Palacios, TX; sister and brother-in-law Wanda Bellar and Jerry Bellar of Gainesville, TX; son, Jesse LaQue of Palacios, TX; daughter's; Eva Lopez of Houston, TX and Kimberly Quintero of San Antonio, TX; 9 grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by both her parents, and 1st husband Billy Bradshaw
