Carolyn Christene Campbell, 72 of Bay City, passed away Sunday, April 22, 2007 in Wharton, TX. She was born May 29, 1934 in Calhoun County to Aaron Paul Hicks and Ozella C. Helms Hicks. She worked as a Lab Analyst at Celanese for thirty years. She was a member of the Red Hat Society, the Doll Club, and the Christian Women's Club.

She is survived by her husband: Melvin F. Campbell, Jr. of Bay City; her daughters: Amy Cline and husband Kelly of Humble and Stephanie Campbell of Nederland; by a son: Dayton Cole and wife Cathy of Boone, NC; a sister: Freda O'Briant and husband Murlyn of Seadrift; and her brother: Wayne Hicks of Seadrift. She is also survived by her grandchildren: Erin Cole, Adam Cole, Justin Cole, Sara Cole, Amy Cole, Ketcher Cline, and Kinsey Cline.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 25, 2007 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck.
