Carmen Chajon Cruz, 70, of Bay City passed away September 26, 2020.  She was born September 27, 1949 in Guatemala City, Guatemala to Eduardo Chajon Davila and Elba Ester Espino.

Survivors include her mother Elba Martinez; husband Raymundo Galdamez; sons Noel Resto, Jr. (Lilly O. Resto) and Javier Cruz; brothers Jaime A. Chajon and Jorge Alfredo Martinez; sisters Elizabeth Gonzales (Jose Ayala), Edith Aragon (Luis Roberto Aragon, Sr.) and Ada Roldan; best friend Elizabeth Breslauer (David Breslauer); grandchildren Uniquez Resto, Noel Resto III, Carmen Dolores Resto (Jose L. Jayasi, Jr.), Jayden Joel Resto and Brianna Cavazos (Ronnie Andrews); great grandchildren K'lysse Fields, Kyn'lei Fields, Kyrin Gillis, Jose L. Jayasi III, Anabella Nikole Jayasi, Julien Rey Jayasi and Jaxon Andrews as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Saturday, October 3, 2020 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home followed by funeral services at 10:00 AM.  Tommy Griffin will officiate.  Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Luis Roberto Aragon, Bryan Arguello, Yiller Artemio Auyon, Edwin Aragon, Noel Resto III and Edward Aragon.  Jayden Joel Resto will serve as honorary pallbearer.
