Carla Jane (Ryman) Cox, 64, of Bay City passed away March 27, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born November 12, 1956 in Bay City to Johnny Carl Ryman, Jr. and Jannie Valerie Crow Ryman.

Carla was talented in many areas but found her true calling as a nurse in the 1990s. From the laboratory to the hospital setting, from doctor's offices, to schools, she finally ended her career in the home healthcare setting. Carla touched many lives with her compassionate heart and caring hands.

Her mother preceded her in death.  Survivors include her father Johnny C. Ryman, Jr.; husband Lee B. Cox; her children Jarred Saizan and Jane Ellen Saizan Miller (Clint); step-children Derek Cox and Amber Cox Ceccacci (Wyndi); brother Martin Duane Ryman (Karen); grandchildren Keira Madelaine Saizan, Jarred Alan Saizan, Jr., Elizabeth Jane Miller, Kyle Cox and Zachary Cox as well as numerous cousins and other relatives.

Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.  Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM with Rev. Noe Cano officiating.  Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jarred Saizan, Derek Cox, Clint Miller and Johnny Tomlin.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorial donations be made to the Women's Pregnancy Center of Bay City.
