Obituary
Carl Myron Hawk, 76, of Matagorda, passed away Friday, March 14, 2008. He was born June 9, 1931 in Iowa to Arthur Carlton Hawk and Velma Marie Chasey Hawk. He was a resident of Matagorda for the past 15 years and had worked as an Auditor for Goodyear. He was veteran of the US Marine Corp serving during the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his daughter: Chasie Grisaffe & husband Mike of Houston; his stepson: Mark Owens of Matagorda; by 6 grandsons and 3 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Loretta Lavaughn Anderson Hawk; by his parents Arthur Carlton & Velma Marie Hawk.
Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 PM Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Matagorda United Methodist Church in Matagorda with Rev. Pauline Harvey officiating.
