Calvin Roderick Loper, 65, of Sargent, passed away February 8, 2019. He was born December 10, 1953 in Anthony, Kansas to Athol A. Green and the late Nina June Crittenden Green.

Survivors include his father; wife Charlotte Loper of Sargent; children Trissa Dawn Thomas (Terry) of Amarillo, Tyler Marie New (Michael) of Amarillo, Sissy Dare Joiner (Timothy) of Spring, Melissa Janell Dare of League City, Tiffany Denise Van Dyke (Marty) of Wadsworth, and Timothy "Tebo" Halik (Mandy) of Rosenberg; brothers John Snelson of Louisiana, John Nelson of Corpus Christi and David Nelson of Danbury; sister Trish Hodes (Howie) of New Orleans; grandchildren Keevan, Kaleb, Beckett, Tyler, Shae, Brock, Peyton, Drake, Sonny, Elizabeth, Jasmine and Bristol and great grandchild Presley.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM until 7PM Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral service will be 2PM Wednesday, February 13, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Royal Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Tyler Joiner, Sean McErlean, Keevan Thomas, Kaleb Thomas, Drake Peel, Kevin Miskell, James Arnold and Lorenzo Malagisi.
