Calvin William Huddleston, 80, of Palacios died November 29, 2006. He was born April 4, 1926 in Olivia, Texas to John and Myrtle Hadley Huddleston. He was a WWII veteran, a longtime employee of Alcoa and had lived in Palacios for over 50 years.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Huddleston of Palacios; sons Calvin Ray Huddleston of Beeville, TX and Michael Don Huddleston & wife Kathy of San Antonio; sisters Ola Mae Peterson of Olivia, Estelle Johnson of Woodinville, WA, & Geneva Mercer of Moody, TX; brother Theodore Huddleston of Kyle, TX; and grandchildren Michael Don Huddleston, Jr, Mark William Huddleston, and Matthew Warren Huddleston all of San Antonio.

Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Palacios Funeral Home with Rev. Hollie Briscoe officiating. Interment will follow at the Olivia Cemetery in Olivia, Texas.
