Burta Louise McIntosh, age 64 of Bay City, Texas, went to be with her heavenly Father on March 29, 2010. She was born September 28, 1945 in Chester, PA to Donald M. and Charlotte M. Brown. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Van Vleck, Texas. She was a Pharmacy Technician at The Medicine Shoppe for 25 years. She was a Jobs Daughter while living in San Diego, CA. She was also an avid reader. Burta never met a stranger and was a great comfort to all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 23 years, David McIntosh, mother Charlotte M. Dessauer Brown; sister; Donna and husband, Ram Ramirez, children; Cheryl and husband James Moon, Martin Strong, Brent and wife Shannon, Bryan and wife Melissa, and Belinda Walden. A niece; Donna and husband Brent Elrod, a nephew; Richard and wife Ellen, grandchildren; Crystal and Jeremiah Leatherwood, Brent, Brandon, Sarah, Josh, Valarie and Emma Kate, also 2 great grandchildren, several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Donald M. Brown and a granddaughter LeeAnn A. Moon.

Visitation will be Tuesday, March 30 from 1 pm to 8 pm at Bay city Funeral Home. Family will be present 5 pm to 7 pm. The Service will be at 1 pm, Wednesday, March 31 at First Baptist Church, Van Vleck, Texas.

Pallbearers are Brent McIntosh, Bryan McIntosh, Brent Elrod, Curtis Dykes, James Moon and Jeremiah Leatherwood.
