Bunyan Ezell Thompson, 96, of Deer Park, TX died October 11, 2005 at Bayshore Hospital in Pasadena, TX. He was born October 7, 1909 to the late Robert Lee and Nancy Ophelia Seals Thompson. He was a resident of Deer Park the past 2 years, a former 50 year resident of Bay City, and a member of the Baptist Church. He was a member of carpenters and millwright local 213.
Survivors include: 3 daughters: Joyce Gross of Huntsville, TX, Jimmie Gilpin of Deer Park, TX, and Kathy LaBlanc of Lake Charles, LA; son: Don Ray Thompson of Sonoma, CA; 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife: Hettie Inez Byrd Thompson, 3 sisters and 7 brothers.
A Funeral Service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, October 15, 2005 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers are Michael & Darin Gross, Kevin & Jeff Thompson, Terry, David, and Timothy Gilpin, and Robert Taylor. Arrangements with Taylor Bros. Funeral Home, Bay City 245-4613.
