Bruce Edward Hicks, 55, of Bay City passed away October 4, 2007. He was born November 15, 1951 in El Campo, TX to the late Ira Wayne and Lucille Robertson Hicks.

Survivors include his wife April Hicks of Bay City; daughters Mary Louise Cornett & Husband Robert Chas of Fort Worth, Elaine Marie Mahar & husband Jasper of Mc Allen and Hannah June Hicks of Bay City; son David Hicks of Austin; step-daughter Rachel Lane Dildy of Wichita, KS; step-sons Jeffrey Henry and Matthew Henry both of Bay City; sister Sharon Hicks of El Maton; brothers Randall Hicks of Bay City and Dwight Hicks of Alabama; and grandchildren Jayden Bradley Hicks and Justin, Zack, Kimberley, Darren, Kaylin, and J. J. Mahar.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 5PM to 8PM Monday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 9, 2007 at the First Baptist Church in Bay City with Dr. Mike Zimmerman officiating. Interment will follow at Ashby Cemetery.
