Bruce B. Grasmuck, 69, of Bay City, passed away Thursday, June 30, 2011 in Houston, TX. He was born October 31, 1941 in Corpus Christi, TX to Charles Grasmuck and Albina S. Grasmuck. He was a resident of Matagorda County since 1978 and was a veteran of the US Army. He worked as a plant operator for Phillips Petroleum in Sweeny, TX and was a member of the Moose Lodge in Freemont, CA.

Bruce was a loving father, husband, and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Christa L. Grasmuck of Bay City; his mother: Albina Grasmuck of Bay City; by his daughter: Donna Ann Sparks of Belleville, IL; his sons: Dennis B. Grasmuck of Bay City and Michael C. Gardner & wife Joann of Exeter, NH; by sisters: Jerilyn Black of Bay City, TX and Marilyn Britto of Truckee, CA; by brothers: Randy Grasmuck of Ada, OK and Ben Grasmuck of Monterey, CA; and by 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father: Charles Grasmuck and his brother: C.J. Grasmuck.

Graveside funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, July 2, 2011 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating.
