Obituary

Brondelle Hall, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away on April 10, 2014. She was born on October 19, 1929 in Rusk, Texas to Elijah Minton Moseley and Connie Estelle Gregg Moseley. She spent her childhood in Rusk and Wild Hurst, Texas, before moving with her family to El Jardin outside of Brownsville where she completed her education, met, fell in love, and married George D. Hall, Jr. George and Brondelle lived in several towns along the Gulf Coast before moving their family to Bay City in 1965 when George began working at Celanese. George passed away August 5, 2012, one month after their 65 th wedding anniversary.

Brondelle was a member of the First United Methodist Church, the Pilot Club, the Book Club, and the DAR. Her passion and joy came from volunteering as a Pink Lady with the Matagorda Hospital Auxiliary where she spent most of her days with her best friends and chosen sisters. Brondelle is survived by her children, Tim and Sue Hall, and Ann Patterson; grandchildren, David Hall, Kristen Patterson, Stephanie and Sergio Perez, Jim Patterson, and Chris Hall. Mila, Penelope, and Georgina Perez are her great-granddaughters. She is also survived by her brothers and their wives, Gerald and Ginny Moseley of Brownsville, and James and Patti Moseley of Las Vegas, and sister-in-law, Elaine Hall of Harlingen, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband George, brother Harold Moseley and brother-in-law, Allen Hall.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the funeral home. The funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Dr. Russ Munch officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City. Honorary Pallbearers are the Matagorda Hospital Auxiliary Volunteers. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the Bay City Public Library Association, For the Love of Animals, or the charity of your choice.

The family would like to thank The Legacy Staff and Houston Hospice for the kindness and compassionate care they gave to both Brondelle and George when the Legacy was their final home.
