Brenda Jo Smith, 63, of Bay City passed away October 15, 2018. She was born June 17, 1955 in San Patricio County to the late Billy Joe Ray and Ruby May Sorters Ray.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters Judy Howard and Sharon Ray, and brothers Billy Ray Jr. and Danny Robinson.

Survivors include her husband Jesse L. Smith, Jr; daughters Misty Davis, Tiffany Goines and Journey Howard; sons Floyd King, Robert Johnson, Matthew Joseph Duzich and Joey Samples; sister Rosa Ray; brothers Larry Bones and James "Butch" Sorters , and numerous grandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be 10:00 AM Friday, October 26, 2018 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home.
