Brenda Marie Marin, 7, of Bay City, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2008 in Houston, TX. She was born July 6, 2000 in Galveston, TX to Santiago Marin and Rosemary Acuna Marin. She was in the First Grade and attended Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She is survived by her parents: Santiago and Rosemary Acuna Marin of Bay City; by her stepsisters: Amanda Laverio and Angelica Garza, both of Wharton; her paternal grandparents: Jose & Guadalupe Marin of Wharton and her maternal grandparents: Joe and Clara Acuna of Bay City.

The Rosary will be held at 7:00 PM, Friday, February 8, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. The Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00AM Saturday, February 9, 2008 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Rev. Gerry Cernoch officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Paul Marin, Joe Marin, Joe Perez, Tony Gonzales, Joe Acuna, Santiago Leal, Jessie Delgado and David Trevino.
