Bonnie Jean Porter, 58, of Freeport passed away October 25, 2020. She was born July 18, 1962 in Bay City, TX to John Timothy Goodman and Wilma Jean Blaylock Goodman.

Her professions changed across her lifetime, but two constants never changed: her love of her family and friends, and her devotion to Jesus Christ. From dancing, to crafting banners and flags, to spreading His word to the people who needed to hear it the most, she was throughout her life a minister for the Lord.

She was preceded in death by her sister Tracy Lynn Anderson.

Survivors include her parents John Timothy Goodman, Sr. and Wilma; sons Timothy Joseph Porter (Lindsey McMahan) and Christopher Royce Porter; daughter Terra Dee Porter (James Brazil Long); brother John Timothy Goodman, Jr. (Paulina), and granddaughter Brooklyn Reigh McKenzie.

Graveside services will be 2:00 PM Friday, October 30, 2020 at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck, TX with Dr. R. E. Breazeale officiating.
