Bobby E. Byrd, 66, of Bay City, passed away Thursday April 24, 2008 in Houston, TX. He was born August 2, 1941 in Bay City to Abe Edell Byrd and Mary Lorene Craig Byrd. He was a lifelong resident of Bay City.
His is survived by his daughters: Dawn Byrd of Bay City and Laura Alexander & husband J.F. of Bay City; by his son: Shannon Byrd & wife Stacie of Bay City; by his sister: Linda Kucera of Bay City and by his grandchildren: Justin Byrd, Kristine Holloway and Blake Holloway. He was preceded in death by his parents: Abe E. & Mary Byrd and by his brother: Kenneth Wayne Byrd.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, April 27, 2008 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Howard Harper officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery in Bay City.
