Bobbie Estell Thompson, 90, of Bay City, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011 at Matagorda Regional Medical Center. She was born July 30, 1920 in Jackson County, Texas to the late William "Bill" Green and Grace Birmingham Green.

She is survived by her husband: W. Ralph Thompson of Bay City; by her daughters and sons-in-law: Beverly Stepan of El Campo, Norma Jean & Billy Fielder of Edna, Carilyn & Tom Richardson of Temecula, CA, Marilyn & Wayne Carroll of Edna; by stepdaughters: Vicky and Mike Stone of Bay City and Shirley Thompson of Bay City; by sons and daughters-in-law: Buddy & Brenda Miller of Jerrell and Billy and Dana Miller of Edna; by stepsons: Robert & Kim Thompson of Bay City and W.R. "Shorty" & Teri Thompson of Bay City; by her sister: Laverne McFadden of League City; and by 27 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents; by her daughter, Londa Sue Rich; by stepson, Terry A. Thompson; by 2 sisters and 2 brothers; and by 1 grandson.

The family will receive visitors from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, January 17, 2011 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Lane Par-Due, officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Van Vleck. Pallbearers will be Justin Miller, Brian Stone, Todd Stepan, Duane Muncrief, W.R. "Shorty" Thompson, and Robert Thompson.
