Robert William McCrory, 71, of Palacios, Texas passed away Saturday, June 19, 2021. He was born August 16, 1949 in Palacios, to the late Robert and Melba McCrory.

Robert McCrory, also known as Bob, was loved and admired by so many. He was brave, courageous, and honorable. Bob joined the military when he was 18 years old and served the United States during the Vietnam War. He has an adventurous spirit and never declined the opportunity for creating memories.

He loved traveling and spending time with his family. He loved music and had the most amazing voice, which he would share with others through karaoke. Bob was witty and always found a way to make you laugh - the center of attention for sure. He will be missed and remembered forever.

Bob is preceded in death by his parents and sister Carolyn McCrory Schneider. He is survived by his wife Riza Valle McCrory, sons: Robert McCrory Jr. and Rico Ramirez & wife Lori,  daughters: Misty McCrory Cathey & husband Greg and Beatriz Valle, brothers: Henry McCrory and Rick McCrory, sister: Mary Harris; grandsons: Robert William McCrory III, Jonythan Smith McCrory, Logan Ramirez, Luke Ramirez; granddaughters: Myla Cathey, Jaylan Cathey, Carlise Cathey and Rylie Ramirez; nephews: Matthew Lewis, James McCrory, and Justin McCrory; nieces: Christina Lambert, Rachel Lewis Bryant, Lisa McCrory Wharton, Tracie Harris Hurtado and Stephanie Harris.

The family will receive friends and relatives at 1:00 pm Friday, June 25, 2021 at Palacios Funeral Home. Services will begin at 2:00 pm with Pastor Lloyd Rodriguez officiating. Pallbearers are Justin McCrory, James McCrory, Josh Wharton, Greg Cathey, Tommy Morton and Joe Ybarra.
