Blasé S. Garcia, 83, of Palacios passed away May 5, 2024.  He was born February 3, 1941 in Palacios to the late Ramon Garcia and Paula Sanchez Garcia.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Mary Garcia.

Survivors include daughters Debbie Garcia and Alice Kalina (Billy); sons Henry Garcia (Rebecca) and Steven Garcia (Lecinda); sisters Pauline Gomez and Janie Penland (Johnny); brother Joe Garcia (Carol); grandchildren Aaron Mills, Henry Garcia, Jr., Samantha Rocha, Sara Eaton, Brent Garcia, Brandon Garcia, Jacqulyn Brandes, Wiliam Kalina, Isabella Kalina, Vincent Garza, Alejandro Garza, Catalina Garza and Trey Longoria and great grandchildren Lane Brandes, Jace Brandes, Faylynn Garcia, Brinleigh Garcia, Eva, Rosaleigh, Adalina and Hannah Rocha and Lyla Eaton.

A rosary will be recited at 9:30 AM Saturday, May 11, 2024 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.  Funeral Mass will be at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Aaron Mills, Trey Longoria, William Kalina, Alejandro Garza, Vincent Garza, Brandon Garcia and Ben Rocha.
