Obituary
Blanche Beatrice Miller, our beloved "Yidah", passed away March 15, 2015 at the age of 106. She was born September 17, 1908 in Elvins, Missouri to the late Paul Roegner and Nettie Gough Roegner. Formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, she had been a resident of Bay City, TX since 2003.
She is preceded in death by her husband John Eugene Miller and son Gene Paul Miller. Survivors include daughter-in-law Katherine (Collins) Miller of Bay City; grandchildren Stewart N. Miller (Nena Duvall) of Seabrook, TX, Karen D. LaBouve (Ray) of Nederland, TX and Barbara A. Blanchard (James) of Friendswood, TX; great grandchildren Christopher N. Miller (Trisha), Tyler C. Miller, Cornelia A. Miller-Rubach (Charles), Jesse S. Miller, Cody I. Blanchard (Erin), Mitchell P. Blanchard, Katherine M. Blanchard, and great-great grandchildren Madison Miller, Tessa Miller and Karlee Blanchard.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Her family would like to extend their extreme gratitude to the staff at Matagorda House, especially the 500 hall, for their love and care.
