Obituary
Billy Byrd, formerly of Bay City and Victoria, passed away on Monday April 4, 2016. He was born on April 24, 1939 in Kosse, Texas to the late Dan and Elba Byrd.
Billy proudly served his country in the Army. Billy is preceded in death by father Dan Byrd; mother Elba Byrd Townsend and brothers Galen Byrd and Jerry Byrd. He is survived by sons Billy Byrd, Jr. and Jeffery Byrd Zachek; sisters Dannelle Williams (Charlie), Judy Ray and Seretta Robinson (Bryan); brothers Mack Byrd (Linda), Ted Byrd, Ned Byrd (Elaine); two granddaughters and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 1:00pm Thursday, April 7, 2016 at Cedarvale Cemetery with interment to follow.
