Billie Dean Tyler Evans, 82, of Bay City, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in her home. She was born January 30, 1934 in Magnet, Texas to Ernest E. Tyler and Annie Bock Tyler.
Billie is preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 63 years, Roy Evans and daughter, Sandra Rickaway. She is survived by daughters Carol Wolf and husband Kevin, and Pam Calk and husband Wade; son , and wonderful caregiver, Roy Dean Evans and friend Betty Melton; sister Barbara Tyler and brother-in-law Lamar Evans; grandchildren Ronald Lynn Rickaway and wife Laurie, Gregory Rickaway and fiancé Amanda Simpson, Theresa Puccetti, Gerald Puccetti, Jr. and wife Chelsey, W.T. Calk and wife Shannon, Amanda Hahn and husband Jason, Dean Evans and fiancé Crystal Garcia, Jennifer, Jessicca and Ashley Wolf. She was blessed with nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Billie was a charter member of Bay City Baptist Church, where she loved Rev. Lee Watson and the church members. She was known in Bay City as "The Cake Lady", as she made many cakes for special occasions.
The family will receive friends and relatives Friday, July 29 from 6:00-8:00pm at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Services will be 10:00am Saturday, July 30, 2016 at Bay City Baptist Church with Rev. Lee Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Serving as pallbearers are Gregory Rickaway, W.T. Calk, Gerald Puccetti,Jr., Dean Evans, Samuel Evans and Ernest Geffert.
