Beverly Whitney, a beloved matriarch known for her kind heart and elevating spirit, passed away on February 3, 2024. Beverly was born on March 12, 1937, a spring bud whose blossoming life was fruitful and full of passion, constantly inspiring those who had the fortune to know her.
She expressed her creativity through her favorite pastimes which included, sewing, cooking, and baking. Countless aprons, casseroles, and pastries were tenderly crafted by her hands, each embodying her dedication and love for her family and friends. These tokens of her affection will serve as cherished reminders of her unique touch and her gentle spirit.
Beverly Whitney was preceded in death by her husband, John "Jack" Whitney. She is survived by her loving children; daughters Becky Cornell, Bonnie Wirths, and Beth Whitney, and her son, Gregory Whitney. Her legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue through them and their children, and the living testament of her spirit can be found in the love and unity of her family.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Colonial Living Nursing Home. Their unwavering dedication, kindness, and professional care provided comfort and support during Beverly's final days, for which the family will remain forever grateful.
