Betty Earlene (Ellis) Yarborough 83, wife to the late Jimmy Yarborough of Vanderbilt TX, went to be with her Savior on January 9, 2019. She was born September 19, 1935 in Bay City, TX to Ernest and Mamie Henderson Ellis.

Betty is survived by six children: daughters, Barbara Greene of Bay City, TX, Stephanie Howton (Calvin) of Liberty Hill, TX, Jimmie Cowan (Dick) of Bay City, TX, Cynthia Burrier (the late Bill Burrier)of Vanderbilt, TX and Carolyn Shelton (Wesley)of Van Vleck, TX; son James Yarborough (Mary) of Vanderbilt, TX; Fifteen grandchildren; Thirty one great grandchildren; sisters Ida Curnutte of Markham and Kathy Anderle of Point Comfort; brother Jack Ellis of Bay City, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy of 65 years, parents Ernest and Mamie (Henderson) Ellis; sisters Mary Medlin and Alta Lenora Janak, and son in law Bill Burrier.

Visitation will be 12 Noon Monday, January 14, 2019 at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow visitation at 2:00pm with Kevin Vyvial officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers are Jason Burrier, Jeremy Burrier, Jordan Burrier, Paul Hill, CJ Howton, James Yarborough, Matthew Yarborough and Larry Yendrey.
