Betty Jean Bundick, 80, of Bay City passed away August 24, 2022.  She was born April 3, 1942 in Pierce, Texas to the late Charles William Bundick, Sr. and Bessie Alice Schultz Bundick.

After conquering Polio in her teenage years, she went on to graduate from Bay City High School in 1961.  She then attended Prudential Business College in Houston. Betty moved back to Bay City to be closer to family and friends.  She lived and worked on Runnels-Pierce Ranch for most of her life. Betty loved to travel and gained countless friends and a lifetime of memories during those years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters Bobbie Lee Davis (Walter), Velma Jane Strarup (Bobby) and Peggy Joyce Lucero; sister-in-law Lillian Sue Bundick.

Survivors include sister Margie Williams (Freddie); brothers Charles Bundick Jr. (Marguerite), Hairl Bundick,  Paul Bundick (Joyce), Thomas Bundick (Kristy), Richard Bundick (Annie Mae), 19 nieces and nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews and extended family members and friends.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the First United Methodist Church.  Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM.  Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Jerry Wayne Davis, Billy Earl Bundick, David Eugene Bundick, Preston Madison Williams, Michael Kade Bundick, John Paul Bundick, Dean Joseph Bujnoch, Jason Paul Bujnoch and Charles Owen Strarup.

The family would like to thank the staff at Angels Care Hospice of Bay City for their compassionate care over the last two years.
