Bettie Jean Acker Elliott (Billie), of Seguin, Texas passed away Friday, April 20, 2012 at her residence after a long fight with C.O.P.D. She was born in Sulpher Springs, Texas in September of 1929 to parents Esther Darden and Haskell Acker. She later moved to Corpus Christi, Texas. In August of 1944 she married George Elliott, Jr. in Bay City. They raised a family of four boys, David Lee, Larry Ray, Donald Wade, and Kenneth Dwayne. They were the light of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, 3 brothers-in-laws, one son, and one daughter-in-law. She is survived by her sister, Mary Jo Bone, her sons Larry (Ramona), Wade (Deane), and Kenneth (Annie). She leaves 9 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren, 1 niece, 1 great-nephew, and 1 great niece.

There will be no visitation but a graveside service will be held on Monday, April 23, at 1:00 PM at Hawley Cemetery, Blessing, Texas. The family requests that in lieu of flowers please make donations to Hawley Cemetery.
