Obituary

Bethelene Knott Baros was born January 31, 1945 in Lake Charles, Louisiana and went to be with our Lord and Savior on November 4, 2010. She is preceded in death by her sister, JoAnn Treadway of Alvin, Texas and her parents, Garvin Knott and Evelyn Bryant Knott of Bay City, Texas. Beth is survived by her husband of 49 years, Frankie Baros, her daughters, Kristie Jackson and significant other Donovan Cody of Bay City, Terry and husband Donny McCabe of Edna, Texas; one son, Joey and wife Debbie Baros of Bay City, four grandsons; Cole McCabe and significant other Amy Mica, Koby Baros, Jake and Liam Cody; five granddaughters; Lesley Hutchinson and significant other Josh Powers, Keri McCabe and significant other Joe Geistman, LeeAnn Meyers and husband Evan Meyers, Laura Jackson and significant other Chris Block; four great grandchildren, Cooper and Cohen Meyers, Jace Geistman, Bryce McCabe, two nieces, Cindy and husband Andy Coz of Pearland, Texas and Paula Richardson of Markham, Texas and a host of other relatives and friends.

Beth worked in her home for many years while raising her family. When her children were older and her husband decided to start a local business, she went to work helping him with the various duties of running a gas station. She also spent her time as a cross-guard with the BCPD. She loved the time she spent visiting with the children. She was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church of Bay City. Visitation will be held from 4:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, November 8, 2010 at St. Paul's United Methodist Church, 3102 5th Street, Bay City, Texas. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests that contributions be made in Beth's memory to the memorial fund at St. Paul's United Methodist Church. The family would like to thank the staff at the Heart and Vascular Institute at Hermann Memorial Hospital and all the health care professionals that have shown so much love to her these last few months. She will be deeply missed by all.
