Bessie Mae Faulkner Brown went to be with the Lord on July 9, 2008. Bess was born on Oct. 7, 1920 in Houston, TX. She married Frank Brown in 1940 and had two children, Nelson and Martha Lee. She graduated from The University of Houston 1958 and taught High School English and History in Bay City & El Campo for many years. She is survived by her five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and many beloved friends and family members. Bess will be remembered most for her strong faith in the lord, love of family, belief in education and great sense of humor. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12, 2008 at 11:00 AM at Williams Trace Baptist Church in Sugar Land, TX. We will miss you, MamMaw!
