Bertha Huston Dunsworth , 74, of Bay City, TX died April 11, 2006 at St. Joseph Hospital in Houston, TX. She was born September 25, 1931 in Galesburg, IL to the late Frank Charles and Irene Cordelia NcNeece Huston. Mrs. Dunsworth was a resident of Bay City since 1953 and was a very active member of the Word of Life Church in Wadsworth, TX. Mrs. Dunsworth was a local artist with paintings all over the United States and in other countries. She loved to travel all over the United States and abroad. Every where she went she would always make a friend and share the Word.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years, Bill Dunsworth of Bay City; daughter & son-in-law: Jenifer & Adam Evans of Sweeny, TX; son & daughter-in-law: Billy & Monica Dunsworth of Kerrville, TX; sisters and brothers-in-law: Lila & Truman Bridges and Nancy & Roy Hibbard all of Slater, MO; brother & sister-in-law: Tom & Sue Huston of Miami, MO; 4 grandchildren: Michelle Dunsworth of Kerrville, Sarah Barnes Pearson & husband Mike of Houston, Jeffrey Barnes and Toby Barnes both of Victoria; 1 great grandson: Michael T. Pearson of Houston; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 AM Friday, April 14, 2006 at Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Melvin Ryman and Rev. Chester Sassman officiating. Interment will follow at Cedarvale Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jeffrey and Toby Barnes, Mike Pearson, Stew Eddy, Dwight Dunsworth, Charles Ray and David Gutherie, and Adam Evans. Honorary Pallbearers will be George Yeager, Charles Bouse, Wilmer Cook, Jim Reddoch, Kenneth McKissick, Bobby Skinner, and Dave Eddy. The family will receive friends at Taylor Bros.
