Benito (Ben) Muniz, III passed away Friday, April 4, 2018, after battling cancer for a year and a half.   He is survived by his wife, Cindy, and his children Megan, Corey, Kayla, Abigail, and Avery.

Ben was born in Bay City, Texas to Consuelo (Connie) and Benito (Ben) Muniz, Jr. on November 8, 1962. His siblings are Joseph (Jody) Muniz and Marjorie (Margie) and husband Gerardo (Jerry) Monroy.

Ben's favorite pastime was playing with children. He had a lot of patience with the young and old. He graduated from Texas A&M with a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering, and finished his career with City Utilities in Springfield, Missouri.

A Rosary will be held 9:30 AM Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A Memorial Mass will follow the Rosary at 10:00 AM with Msgr. Gerry Cernoch officiating.
