Beatrice Alice Hufstetler passed away June 25, 2008, at the age of 88. "Bea" was born January 29, 1920 in New Ulm, TX to Max Franke, Sr and Emma Louise (Bollman) Franke. She married Robert Edward (Ed) Hufstetler in April 1958 who preceded her in death in 1997. Also preceding her in death are sisters Roxie Franke, Maynola Franke Mueller, and brothers Wilburn, Milton and Max Franke.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Ray and Karen Hallford of Austin, TX, daughter and son-in law Sharon and Steve Adams of Austin, TX and daughter Shirley Hall of League City, TX, brothers Ralph Franke and wife Patsy of Harker Heights, TX, and Roy Franke and wife Mona of Pampa, TX. She was blessed by grandchildren Scott McFarlin, Amy Hallford Turman, Julianne and James Hall and Ryan Adams.

She was an active member of St. Peter Lutheran Church in Bay City, TX for several years. During the last 10 years of her life she lived with her daughter Shirley Hall in League City, TX and it was such a blessing for her to live at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 3000 9th St in Bay City, TX at 3:00pm Sunday, June 29, 2008 with the Rev. Preston Weatherly officiating.
