Obituary
Barbara Joyce Curtis, 89, of Palacios, TX passed away September 3, 2017. She was born December 12, 1927 in Daisetta, TX to Robert Quince and Ella Booth Mansell.
Barbara is preceded in death by her parents, and daughter-in-law Kathy O. Curtis. She is survived by her husband, of sixty-four years, Marvin L. Curtis; son Robert Curtis of Palacios; daughter Renalynn Curtis Willis of Bay City; grandchildren Heather Curtis, Jason Polasek, Scott Willis and Thomas Willis; great-grandchildren LeAnn Willis, Brenton Willis, Camron Willis, Asia Willis, Scott Willis, Jr. and Sady Willis.
The family will receive friends and relatives 5:00pm-7:00pm Friday, September 8 at Palacios Funeral Home. Services are 2:00pm Saturday, September 9, 2017 at First United Methodist of Palacios with Rev. David King officiating. Interment will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Pallbearers are Steven Curtis, Mark Koening, Ted Bates, Jimmy Neeley, Tom Holsworth and Mike Morey. Honorary pallbearers Will Mozley and Marty Rieck.
The family request in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to First United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 947, Palacios, TX 77465.
