Bao Tran went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at 8:58 p.m. in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Bao was born on August 8, 1940, in Nam Dinh, Vietnam, to the late Ruong Tran and Thuc Thi Bui.

He is survived by his children: sons Bryan Tran and wife Yen, John Tran and wife Lien, Alex Tran and wife Jannine; and daughters, Van Tran and Nhung Terri Stoppa. He also leave behind his grandchildren, Jennifer Lopez and husband Zach, Tiffany Hannigan and husband Dylan, Kimberly and husband Ricky Pok, Tony Anh Pham and wife Misty, Tony Thien Pham and wife Vy, Matthew Tran, Madeleine Tran, Michael Tran, Mia Tran, and Kalli Coolen; and his great- grandchildren, Gavin Lopez, Grayson Lopez, Henry Hannigan, Rory Hannigan, Junie Pok, Keo Pok, Tidus Pham, Autumn Thompson, Kirstin Thompson.

ROSARY & VISITATION

Rosary and Visitation will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026, at Our Lady of La Vang Catholic Church, 100 Vietnam Street, Palacios, Texas.

FUNERAL MASS & BURIAL

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Our Lady of La Vang Catholic Church, 100 Vietnam Street, Palacios with Fr Dominic Nguyen as celebrant. Burial will follow at Palacios Cemetery. Lunch will be served afterward in the church hall.
