Aunnine Lloyd Head, 82, of Bay City died December 1, 2005. She was born August 28, 1923 in Covington, Tennessee to William and Laura Della Roach Lloyd. She had been a resident of Bay City since 1930, was a member of the First United Methodist Church, VFW Post # 2438 Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion Post #11, and The Matagorda County Birding and Nature Center.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Bert Head in 2004; by one sister, Louise McCrosky, and by three brothers, Aubrey Lloyd, Garner Lloyd and Thestle Lloyd. Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Linda & Al Voyles of Longview and Sherry Head & Greg Rothermel of Bay City; by two sons and daughters-in-law, Wayne & Vicki Head and Bobby and Wiem Head all of Bay City; by two sisters, Sarah Hayes of Bay City and Robbie Van Ness of Henderson; by seven grandchildren, Dale Lessenberry, David Lessenberry, Ken Head, Vim X Head, Kirk Head, Aly Head, and Amira Head; and by two step-grandchildren, Mike Voyles and Michelle Gerber.

Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Taylor Bros. Funeral Home with Rev. Pauline Harvey officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery in Blessing. Pallbearers will be Dale Lessenberry, David Lessenberry, Ken Head, Vim X Head, Kirk Head and Billy Joe Van Ness. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 pm Friday at Taylor Bros.
