Aubrey Denson Sanders, 83, of Palacios passed away Oct. 22, 2008. He was born Sept. 7, 1925 in Sulpher Springs, Texas to the late Fred & Dee Lillie Williams Sanders.

His wife, Mabel Sanders and brothers Virgil & Dayton Sanders all preceded him in death. Survivors include daughter Gail & husband William Dannels of Midland, TX; sons David Sanders & wife Debbie of Palacios Dan Sanders & wife Shawn of Huffman, TX; sisters Bernice Voyles & Nancy Peek, brother Frank Sanders of Jacksonville, TX; grandchildren Brandon Sanders & Ashley Sanders both of Palacios; Jeffrey Dannels & wife Jennifer of Little, Elm, TX and Jennifer Dannels Smith & husband Kyle of Carrollton, TX, Micah Sanders of Oregon & Danessa Sanders of New Caney, TX and great grandchildren Liam Smith & Morgan Dannels.

The family will receive friends and relatives from 6pm to 8pm Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service will be 10:00 AM Saturday, Oct. 25, 2008 at Trinity Baptist Church with Rev. Louis Rush officiating. Interment will follow at Hawley Cemetery. Pallbearers will be John Toellner, Charles Mize, Bennie Mize, Jeff Dannels, Bill Dannels & Herbert Ressler.
